Who we are
Off Script Tapes is a service provided by Edithouse Wedding Films, registered in Dublin, Ireland. We are the data controller for the personal data described on this page. When this policy says "we", "us", or "Off Script", that's who we mean.

What we collect
Date check (expression of interest): we only collect your name, email, and event date so we can confirm whether the kit is free. That's it.
When you book: we additionally collect your phone number and delivery address so we can post the kit to you, plus payment details processed by our payment provider (we never see or store full card numbers).
Your footage: the clips recorded on the kit, and the edits we produce from them. We treat these as personal data and handle them with the same care as everything else here.

Why we use it
To run the service: confirm your booking, post you the kit, deliver your video and Home Movie, and stay in touch about your order.
To keep our records straight: tax, accounting, and resolving any dispute about a booking.
We do not use your data for advertising. We do not sell it. We do not share it with ad networks.

How long we keep it
Date-check data: until you ask us to remove it, or for up to 12 months if the date doesn't lead to a booking.
Booking data: we keep it for 7 years for tax and accounting reasons, as required by Irish law.
Footage: kept on a private link for you. Tell us when you book if you want it deleted after delivery, and we will.

Who we share it with
Only the suppliers we need to run the service: our couriers (DPD to deliver the kit and An Post to bring it back), our payment provider to take payment, and the tools we use to host your private link and send email. Each only gets the minimum they need.
We may disclose data if the law requires it. Otherwise, your data stays with us.

Your rights
Under GDPR you can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you, and to restrict or object to how we use it. You can also ask for a copy of your data in a portable format.
Email emma@offscripttapes.ie and we'll action it. You also have the right to complain to the Data Protection Commission (dataprotection.ie).

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always the one published here, dated in the header. Material changes are emailed to existing customers.
